The Global Geoparks Network (GGN)
The Global Geoparks Network (GGN) is an international non-profit organization that brings together all UNESCO Global Geoparks. Founded in 2004, the GGN preceded the official UNESCO programme and played a decisive role in the creation of the "UNESCO Global Geopark" label in 2015.
The GGN works for international cooperation between geoparks, facilitating exchanges of experiences, sharing of best practices and development of joint projects. It regularly organizes international conferences, training workshops and evaluation visits.
M'Goun Geopark has been an active member of the GGN since its designation in 2014. It participates in international conferences and maintains cooperation partnerships with 19 UNESCO Global Geoparks, particularly in Europe, Asia and Africa.
