Geo-Education
Learning the Earth by living it — M'Goun Geopark Educational Programs
Geo-Education Objectives
M'Goun Geopark's geo-education programme aims to make the territory a genuine open-air laboratory for students and teachers. Drawing on 22 well-geolocated and geoconserved geosites and over 100 inventoried geosites, the geopark offers unique educational experiences that ground learning in reality.
- Raise awareness among younger generations of M'Goun Geopark's geological and natural heritage
- Develop students' scientific curiosity and powers of observation
- Promote Amazigh culture and the link between geology and civilisation
- Train future actors of sustainable development in the High Atlas
- Contribute to heritage conservation through education and awareness-raising
